Trumpeteers Today
The Republican Trumpeteers of Adams County meet monthly at City Buffet, 10695 Melody Drive, Northglenn, CO.
In odd-numbered months, the Trumpeteers meet on the first Saturday of the month at 11:30 am.
In even-numbered months, the Trumpeteers meet on the first Tuesday of the month at 11:30 am.
We will continue with this schedule until we break for summer.
The History of the Republican Trumpeteers of Adams County
The Republican Trumpeteers of Adams County is affiliated with the Colorado Federation of Republican Women (CFRW) and the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW).
The Republican Trumpeteers of Adams County was founded in 1970. A twentieth anniversary celebration was held in May of 1990.
Trumpeteers has been honored by the Colorado Federation and the National Federation for its participation in their programs.
In 1985 and 1991 the club received the NFRW Silver Award, and in 1989 the NFRW Gold Award.
The Colorado Federation honored Trumpeteers in 1986, 1990, and 1991 with the Mary Lane Award, which is given annually to the unit club with the most volunteer political service hours per capita. The club earned second place for the 1989 Mary Lane Award. In 1990 the club was again honored with a tie for the Ruth Parks Award. The Ruth Parks Award is presented annually to the unit club which most effectively implements the programs of CFRW.
